Elations Company LLC Joint Supplement Drink Class Action Lawsuit (McCrary v. The Elations Company LLC, Case No. 5:13-cv-00242)

Class members are defined as anyone whom purchased a Elations joint supplement drink in the state of California from April 28, 2009 and Aug. 31, 2020. Class members contend that the “clinically-proven” to improve joint comfort statement was false and misleading. This statement was printed on the labels and/or packaging of Elations Healthier Joints Daily Joint Supplement Drink. Class members also contend that the main ingredients in the supplement drink were glucosamine hydrochloride and chondroitin sulfate and neither of these actually help relieve or improve joint health/pain.
The Elations joint supplement class action settlement was preliminarily approved on Aug. 31, 2020 and the firm has agreed to pay $1,350,000 to make the lawsuit go away (it should be noted that Elations denies any and all actions of wrong doing).
Important dates associated with the $1.35 million dollar Elations settlement:
- Dec. 30, 2020 (last day to object or exclude one from the settlement)
- All claim forms must be receive or postmarked by 12/30/2015
- The U.S. District Court for the Central District of California has scheduled a fairness hearing to take place on 2/22/2016
Class members who file claims with a proof of purchase may receive up to $18 while class members who file claims without proof may receive up to $12.
Elations Joint Supplement drinks were sold at the following places in the state of California: Wal-Mart, Big Lots, 99 Cent Store, CVS, Kroger, Safeway, Target, Sam’s Club, Walgreens, Save Mart, C&S Grocery Stores, Cardinal Health, Coastal Pacific, Navy Exchange, Raleys, Ralphs, Unified Western, Stater Brothers, and Supervalu.
