When paying a Pacific Gas and Electric Company energy bill online the customer has 5 different payment options to choose from. The customer can pay in person, over the phone, online, by US mail, or set up auto payments (the recommended method). Customers who choose to pay a P&GE bill via auto pay will need an US bank account in good standing and will have to provide the bank account/routing number. Recurring auto payments are they way to go as it ensures the customer will never miss a payment (assuming they always have enough money in their checking account to cover the monthly bill). Customers who sign up for the PGE MyEnergy auto bill pay service will never be charged a convenience fee. Pacific Gas and Electric Company customers can also pay over the phone by calling 877-704-8470. When paying over the phone please have the customers PG&E 11 digit account number on hand and be ready to pay a $1.35 convenience fee. When paying over the phone the customer can use a credit/debit card or a bank account. Those who still like to pay the old fashion way (by mail) can send the payment to: PG&E P.O.
