The VZW Pix Login multimedia messages is also commonly referred to as MMS or picture and video messaging. Once the customer activate their Verizon Wireless device they should be able to start sending multimedia messages instantly (assuming they have friends to send the messages to). The maximum picture resolution will vary based on the VZW device in questions and the location of the sender (customers should refer to their Verizon Wireless device user guide for more information about picture resolution).

- Verizon Wireless customers are allowed to send and receive multimedia messages with any wireless carrier in the US
- The amount of pictures a customer can store in a VZW device will depend on how much memory the device has (again refer to the user guide)
- A tip for those who need to free up memory… upload pictures to the Verizon Cloud
- All photos/pictures will remain in the customers inbox until they are deleted
- Most VZW devices can send photos to email addresses
- The cost of sending a multimedia message will depend on the Verizon Wireless plan
- Many customers will opt for the “Pay As You Go Plan” where customers will pay $ 0.25/message per recipient regardless of how many recipients they send it to (up to 10 recipients)
- Some devices, with cameras 2 megapixels and larger, may automatically reduce the file size of large videos down to the maximum 500 KB limit before sending.
